934 days. That’s how many days there are until Trump is out of office and a new U.S. president is inaugurated on January 20, 2029.
For years, we have looked to Donald J. Trump as the only guy willing to take the punches that most Republicans spend their careers trying to avoid. The only guy to put AMERICA FIRST and to try to make it great again. For his troubles, he is disparaged, lied about, sued, and targeted for assassination.
He fights the media. The Democrats. The Republicans. The bureaucracy. Activist judges. Other countries. Open borders. DEI mandates. Endless regulations – and just about every sacred cow the Washington establishment holds dear. Whether you love him or hate him, nobody has accused him of lacking a willingness to swing.

Which raises an uncomfortable question: What happens when Trump is gone?
Because if recent elections are any indication, the political left isn’t inching toward the center – it’s sprinting the other direction. Democratic Socialists (communists) and foreigners continue gaining influence. Progressive activists are demanding ever more radical policies and establishment Democrats seem increasingly afraid to tell them “no.”
Meanwhile, most of the Republicans have perfected the art of issuing strongly worded press releases before promptly folding like a cheap lawn chair on just about every issue. They are unwilling to even enter the fight let alone try to win it. Even a Republican majority in the House and Senate means nothing. We can’t get the SAVE Act passed. We can’t get any meaningful immigration policy passed. The spineless Republicans are useless, ineffective, feckless, gutless, incompetent, and pathetic.
Trump is usually the only guy standing between millions of Americans and a government that seems increasingly eager to micromanage every aspect of our lives to make us less prosperous, less successful, and less free.
That’s not exactly a comforting long-term strategy. But it’s what the Democrats’ goal is. That and unlimited power and wealth.
A healthy republic isn’t supposed to depend on one person willing to fight while everyone else searches for the nearest exit. Yet that’s exactly where we are – for the next 934 days.
