Number Three— Today it is time to return to some basics and remind ourselves that words do in fact matter—and that definitions of words matter and the things that we say matter—

 

Today we are going to work through some definitions that most of us would find to be fairly simple—BUT it seems more and more people are struggling with—

 

I don’t understand—I mean my mother was a school teacher and my father was a science major—so words were very important to both of my parents and they taught all of their kids the importance of understanding things with clear definitions—so when the blatantly obvious is just ignored—or worse it is perverted so that it can be applied to some political agenda—no matter how inaccurate or dishonest it is—I find it appalling—

 

One of the biggest problems in recent years—is the collaboration of on-line companies and even on-line dictionaries to blatantly change the definition of words—just to fit the political narrative—

 

That’s why I am a big fan of old World Book Encyclopedias—I have two full sets—one from 1957 and another one from the 1960’s—and if I have questions about something that happened or what is true and I don’t trust what I am reading on line—I o to the old stand by—

 

Books, old books are a very good thing to keep around for that very reason—you see you cannot just erase people, places or definitions based on the political whim or wind of the day—

 

Chat GBT—even with all of it’s Artificial Intelligence cannot find its way into the musty pages in the back aisles of libraries whether its mine or one built by Andrew Carnegie—

 

So, lets get going—

 

For me, its very easy- an adult female human being—that is a woman—the one who ovulates and bears children—the one that picked me up when I fell—dusted me off and sent me out the door—the one that threatened to kick my butt if I didn’t straighten up—that was my mom, the school teacher—she was a strong woman who left a lasting impression on me—and I am fully certain that she, yes she, would find Dylan Mulvaney and the entire transgender trend to define stupidity—

It seems those on the left want to spend a lot of time bumping their gums while saying almost nothing of actual relevance or value—they want to define parents as terrorists for defending their kids—and white people as racist but fail on so many other terms it really is embarrassing—

 

Lets try another one—that they talk so much about that it should be easy—but apparently its not—

 

Inside the beltway there were a lot of hearings on Tuesday—like the two you have already seen—that might be the definition of futility—

 

But I also found one that is absolutely the definition of Smack Down—when a sitting Senator refuses to accept a bull crap answer—

 

How about admitting that the border is the definition of failure for the Biden Administration—

 

And while we are working our way through the problems at the border—another important definition comes up—because Democrats absolutely refuse to accept responsibility for their failures as you have already seen—

 

But it really is a bit worse than that—and that brings me to the definition of denial—

  

You know it just would not be complete while talking about politicians—if we don’t talk about ignorance—and I have one great way to do that—

 

And you know I have one left—and it combines defining woke—with once again defining smack down—
