—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
 
One — The U.S. Secret Service is now working out details with New York authorities about transporting former President Donald Trump to Manhattan to face criminal charges.  The law enforcement agency says it’s working with state authorities and Trump’s lawyers to provide for a safe surrender, and that its role is transportation and personal protection, and they are not taking part in Trump’s arrest.  Trump has released a statement saying he’s completely innocent.

Two—  Ford is raising the price of its popular F-150 Lightning pickup truck again. The base model of the electric pickup now starts just under 60-thousand dollars.  That’s nearly 50-percent higher than its starting price when it launched last year.
 

 

Three — More than 65-million Americans in at least 15 states are in the path of what meteorologists are calling explosive thunderstorms.  The violent weather that will develop today threatens a big swath of the center of the country, including cities such as Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and here in Michigan.  Forecasters say storms boiling up today and tonight could generate tornadoes, torrential rainfall, hail, and damaging 70 to 80-mile an hour wind gusts.
