One — The Nashville chief of police says he is not yet ready to discuss a working theory the department has about the school shooter.  The police chief did say the shooter formerly attended The Covenant Presbyterian School.  Police also said the 28-year-old transgender Nashville woman had maps of the school and had been conducting surveillance prior to the shooting.

Two—   Over two-dozen Burger King locations in metro Detroit will be closing after he franchise owner could not reach a new contract with the restaurant chain. EYM King of Michigan says their stores will be closing by April 15th and over 400 employees will lose their jobs.

 

And number three— Disney is set to begin layoffs this week.  According to a memo sent by CEO Bob Iger, it’s the first of three rounds of cuts that will total about seven-thousand employees.  The belt-tightening is part of a broader effort to trim corporate spending and streamline operations.  The layoffs are expected to affect Disney’s media division along with parks and resorts and ESPN.
