One — Turkey has been rocked by yet another powerful earthquake, this one a magnitude 7.5, following just hours after a deadly magnitude 7.8 quake.  Between that country and Syria, over 13-hundred people are believed to have been killed and thousands more injured.  U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan says President Biden has directed USAID to assess response options.

Two—  Michigan will be the home of free snowmobiling next weekend.  The Department of Natural Resources is announcing that next Saturday and Sunday, February 11th and 12th, snowmobilers can enjoy Michigan’s more than five-thousand miles of designated snowmobile trails without needing a trail permit or a snowmobile registration.

 

And number three— One Republican senator is criticizing the timing of the suspected Chinese spy balloon being shot down.  Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, Texas’ Ted Cruz said that while he commended the President for having the guts to shoot down the balloon, Biden shouldn’t have waited so long to take action.
