One — Southwest Airlines CEO Bob Jordan is apologizing after thousands of canceled flights again left countless travelers stranded.  Jordan said he’s truly sorry and that there’s a massive effort to stabilize the airline and get things back to normal.  Winter storms and huge operational challenges sent Southwest into a meltdown.

Two—    The University of Michigan is making the list of the hardest colleges to get into in the U.S. for 2023.  Niche released their top 100 list which ranked UofM at number 61.  The only other Michigan school to make the list is Hillsdale College at number 91.

 

And number three— Former President Trump’s tax returns will be released later this week.  Reports say the House Ways and Means Committee will release a redacted version of Trump’s tax returns Friday morning.   House Democrats gained access to the records earlier this month as part of an investigation into whether the IRS audit of the former President was conducted properly.
