One — The biggest volcano in Hawaii might be getting ready to erupt.  Hawaii County officials are warning people that Mauna Loa is showing increasing signs of activity, which could signal a coming eruption.  Hawaii County’s Civil Defense Administrator said on Thursday that people who live on the slopes of Mauna Loa should prepare for some kind of lava disaster.

Two—  Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney is endorsing a Democrat in a tight race for her U.S. House seat.  Elissa Slotkin of Michigan was described by Cheney as a good and honorable public servant.  Cheney is also set to campaign in the district next week.
 
And number three— Dolly Parton says she’s done with touring.  Ahead of her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction next week, Parton spoke with “Pollstar” and cited her age and husband as reasons as to why she doesn’t think she’ll tour again.  She’s not done performing, though, adding that she will most likely still play the occasional special show or festival.
