Three— The 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four is set. Kansas, Villanova, Duke and North Carolina will compete in New Orleans for college basketball’s biggest prize. Kansas will play Villanova on Saturday. Duke will take on rival North Carolina for their 258th meeting since 1920, but for the first time in the NCAA Tournament.
Two— Gas prices are slightly lower than a week ago. Triple-A Michigan says the average has dropped two-cents to four-dollars-14-cents, which is up 64-cents in the past month and a dollar-47 more than last year. Marquette’s four-32 is the highest price in the state, and Grand Rapids and Saginaw have the lowest at four-dollars-seven-cents.
And number one— Ukraine is willing to discuss becoming a neutral country in a peace deal with Russia. That comes with conditions as President Volodymyr Zelensky says the deal would have to be guaranteed by third parties and put to a referendum. More than a month after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Zelensky said any deal first requires a ceasefire and troop withdrawals.
