Three—  The death toll in a Pennsylvania pileup is expected to rise today.  Three people were killed yesterday when up to 60 vehicles collided in blinding snow on Interstate 81.  Three semis and a few cars caught fire, delaying a search of the scene.  More than 20 people were hurt.

Two— Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is participating in oral arguments remotely. Thomas was recently hospitalized for an infection and was recently released.  It was almost two weeks ago that the 73-year-old was admitted after experiencing “flu-like” symptoms.

 

And number one— President Biden is defending his remarks about the dangers of Russian President Vladimir Putin remaining in power.  Questioned by reporters Monday, Biden said he isn’t walking back anything, though he insisted his comments were about his moral outrage and not about U.S. policy on regime change.
