Two— President Biden will send an emergency response team to Michigan to help the state deal with the omicron COVID-19 variant.  Governor Whitmer thanked Biden for the response, noting doctors and nurses are exhausted and at a breaking point.  

 

And number one— The Biden administration may be considering an extension to the pause on student debt repayment.  That’s what a Department of Education spokesperson told CNBC Tuesday.  The pause started at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020, giving those with student debt a break in making payments while the virus played havoc on the economy.
