—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
Three— Washington is declaring a state of emergency for 14 counties amid severe weather. Heavy rains and high winds are closing schools today in three districts and the city of Mount Vernon is evacuating due to flooding. The storm has also caused landslides and power outages.
Two— Nearly 700-thousand Michigan families will get a little extra help for groceries this month. Governor Whitmer announced yesterday that eligible families will receive an extra Bridge Card payment between November 13 and 23 as a separate payment from their normal help.
And number one— Wisconsin is on verdict watch in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Jurors begin deliberating today. They’re deciding if the 18-year-old acted in self defense when he shot and killed two men and injured a third last year during riots, or like a vigilante as prosecutors maintain.
