—Here are 3 big things you need to know—

 

Three—  Afghanistan is losing control of its second and third largest cities.  The Taliban has seized them both, and now has a hold on more than two-thirds of the country.  The U.S. has reportedly asked the terror group not to attack the embassy in Kabul if they overtake that city too.

 

 

Two— Businesses are being urged by the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration to again mandate wearing masks inside.  Officials continue to say masks, the vaccine, and social distancing are some of the best ways to stop it the Delta variant.  Governor Whitmer has repeatedly said they will not be issuing new epidemic orders.

 
And number one— Check those bank accounts.  The second round of Advance Child Tax Credit payments are going out today.  And it comes two days early since the 15th falls on the weekend. Parents can expect to get 300-dollars for each child under six and 250-dollars for those over that.
