—Here are 3 big things you need to know—

Three—  The Bucks are taking home the Larry O’Brien Trophy for the first time in a half century after beating the Suns 105-98 in Game Six of the NBA Finals in Milwaukee.  The Bucks are only the fifth team to win the championship after being down two games to none in the Finals.

Two— The delta variant now accounts for more than 80-percent of coronavirus cases in the U.S.  That’s according to CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, who put the number at 83-percent.  She says that’s up from 50-percent during the week of July 3rd.

And number one— Fewer people in Michigan are buckling up, with a study by Michigan State University finding 92-point-six-percent of people wore their seat belt.  That was a drop from 94-point-four-percent in 2019 and is the lowest seat belt compliance rate since 2004.  Michigan State Police also say there were over one-thousand traffic deaths in 2020 for the first time in three years.
