Two— Former President Donald Trump’s legal team will take the Senate floor today after House impeachment managers spent the last day of their arguments hoping to convince senators that Trump incited the deadly January riot at the U.S. Capitol. Trump’s legal team will begin their presentation at noon ET, which could last up to eight hours with an additional eight hours on Saturday.

 

And number one— Pressure is mounting for President Joe Biden to deliver on his promise of reopening the nation’s schools amid the coronavirus pandemic. Republicans and parents are critical of his shifting goalposts and are demanding action to address what he himself called a “national emergency.”
