Here are Three Big Things you need to know right now—

 

Three— It seems the teachers unions are more powerful than ever in Michigan—in fact they are getting bonus pay for those in the classroom—even though they haven’t been in the classroom—

 

Two— The Michigan House in a long overdue move—has passed a bill to keep Covid sick patients out of nursing homes and long term care facilities—it comes after thousands died from the mandate issued by Governor Whitmer in an executive Order—in fact MIRS News reports—only 300 people that have died from Covid—would not qualify for McDonalds Senior discount—

 

One— Governor Whitmer slashed tens of millions of dollars from the State Police budget and Corrections—but this time after using Federal Coronavirus relief funds and cashing in $350 million from the rainy day fund— much of the cuts were replaced for now—but lawmakers know—there is no guarantee such a bailout is coming the next time—and real—severe cuts are on the way—permanent cuts—

 

The Governors office lashed out at a statewide news service for reporting cuts to police and corrections budgets—but never replied when pressed on whether the cuts would be permanent—
