Robert Charles is a spokesman for the 2.1 million-member Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), the conservative alternative to AARP. He served in the Reagan and Bush 41 White Houses and served as Assistant Secretary of State under George W. Bush. He also served as counsel to the U.S. House National Security subcommittee for five years.
