—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
 
One — The search for a mass murderer is ongoing in Maine at this hour.  Authorities are searching for 40-year-old Robert Card, who they believe was the gunman who killed 18 people and wounded over a dozen others in two mass shootings in the town of Lewiston Wednesday night, first at a bowling alley and then at a bar.  

Two—  The state Senate has passed clean energy bills. Governor Gretchen Whitmer calls the package a big deal for Michigan families, Michigan workers, and Michigan’s economy.  Republicans are critical of the bills.  Senator Thomas Albert says the policies are misguided and will make energy more expensive and less reliable.
 

 

Three — Republican Congressman George Santos is due to be arraigned in a New York courtroom later on today.  He’s facing charges including falsifying records, aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States.  He previously pleaded not guilty to over a dozen different charges including fraud, money laundering and theft.
