Well, well, well…it looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s dissent from royalty is continuing to bit them in the butt.

They’ve already lost their royal titles and are being forced to repay a whopping 2.4 million in public funds for lavish improvements their swanky Windsor home.

It was also announced that the couple will repay the $3.1 million (£2.4 million) spent on the renovation of their home Frogmore Cottage.

“The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family,” continued the statement. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared their wish to repay Sovereign Grant expenditure for the refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage, which will remain their UK family home.”

Reports indicated that the renovation, which included new heating, wiring and utilities,” cost more than estimated in the name of making the home more family-friendly for their son, Archie. [Fox News]

But now the ex-royal couple reportedly has a new monkey on their backs, and its name is Netflix.

According to reports, Prince Harry is desperately trying to stop Netflix from portraying his life and of course, his disastrous marriage to Meghan Markle on their hit show The Crown.

“Harry, when I went to interview him in the palace, the first thing he said to me when he shook my hand was, ‘Are you watching The Crown?'” biographer Angela Levin told BBC on Sunday about a 2018 meeting she had with him for her book Harry: Conversations with the Prince. “He said, ‘I’m going to make sure I stop it before they get to me.'”

Netflix has already expressed its interest in working with the couple. “Who wouldn’t be interested? Yes, sure,” Ted Sarandos, the company’s chief content officer, said when he was asked about collaborating with the former senior royals.

The Sussexes are reportedly looking to style their post-royal career after their friends, Barack and Michelle Obama. “They have found huge commercial success without actually looking like they are getting their hands dirty, to put it bluntly, and retaining their popularity,” a source said about the couple’s love of the Obamas. Good grief, of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trying to same methods as Barack and Michelle Obama.

I mean, as former, useless government officials, they’re heading down the same path as the Obama’s.
