Remember when Taylor Smith was just a singer who didn’t blather on about her stupid political agenda? Those were the days, right?

Her mantra was “shut up and sing.” My how times have changed.

See, in the kooky and mentally unstable world of the anti-Trump #Resistance, you can’t be a celebrity and sit on the sidelines for the sake of your career.

No way.

You have to nuke yourself like Kathy Griffin and risk standing in bread lines because your career is in the toilet over publically stating “Orange Man Bad.”

If you’re not willing to make that sacrifice, you’ll be drawn and quartered by your very own Hollywood pals.

It’s a no-win situation for weak-kneed celebrities like Ms. Swift, who “came out” of the political closet as a flaming progressive globalist and started endorsing liberal candidates. She was pushing hard for some numbskull in the 2018 Tennessee Senate race, whose name I can’t even recall. Needless to say, he/she lost and Ms. Swift now says seeing politicians she endorsed fail was worse than losing at the Grammys.

What a tool.

In the fall of 2018, Swift finally comes out of the closet politically to intervene on behalf of Democrats in a midterm election in her home state of Tennessee. As the Washington Post put it, this announcement “fell like a hammer across the Trump-worshipping subforums of the far-right Internet, where people had convinced themselves… that the world-famous pop star was a secret MAGA fan.” Donald Trump goes on camera to smirk that he now likes Swift’s music a little less. The singer is successful in enlisting tens of thousands of young people to register to vote, but her senatorial candidate of choice, Democrat Phil Bredesen, loses to Republican Marsha Blackburn, whom she’d called out as a flagrant enemy of feminism and gay rights.

“Definitely, that was a bigger disappointment for me,” Swift says, pitting the midterm snub against the Grammy snub. “I think what’s going on out in the world is bigger than who gets a prize at the party.” [Variety]

After Taylor came out as a Democrat she quickly started landing “juicy” parts in blockbuster movies. That was her reward for publically hating on President Trump and becoming a proud member of the mentally ill Hollywood #Resistance.

However, bad news for Progressive Taylor – her movie “Cats” was probably one of the biggest bombs ever. And the critics didn’t just hate it, they loathed it. One critic actually said they’d rather cough up a furball than watch it again.

Ouch.

That’s what I like to call a heaping-helping of the #TrumpCurse…and there’s plenty more where that came from, Taylor. Buckle up, because things are about to get very bumpy on your career path!
