—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
Three— The Environmental Protection Agency is taking action that it says will reduce pollution. It’s increasing fuel emissions standards for cars and light trucks by five to ten-percent each year for 2023 to 2026 models. The goal is to reach an average of 40 miles-per-gallon by 2026.
Two— Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed four bills to create one-point-five-billion-dollars in incentives for businesses in the state. The bills create the Strategic Outreach and Attraction Reserve Fund with a billion-dollars to be used to help companies.
And number one— President Biden is set to address the nation tonight about the spread of the Omicron variant. This, after it was learned on Monday that a White House staffer has tested positive for COVID-19 after having close contact with President Biden. The president has tested negative.
