—Here are 3 big things you need to know—
Three— Texas is moving forward on building its own border wall. The first panels were installed Saturday in the Rio Grande Valley. The wall began under the last administration and was halted by President Biden. It’ll fill a two-mile gap where the federal wall was unfinished.
Two— Gas prices are down a nickel on average in the state. Triple-A Michigan says the average is now three-dollars-14-cents a gallon, 23-cents lower than last month and a dollar higher than last year. Grand Rapids has the lowest prices at two-dollars-96-cents, while Marquette has the highest at three-dollars-37-cents.

And number one— The White House isn’t giving up on President Biden’s social spending bill. His press secretary says they’re shocked Senator Joe Manchin has decided to vote no and will try to get him to reverse his decision. Manchin cites rising inflation and the pandemic as his reasons.
