Cities ran by democrats, as you know, are a cesspool of crime, poverty and disease.

They don’t protect their citizens from crime, they have done a horrible job controlling the coronavirus, they’ve locked down their cities resulting in economic devastation and they don’t offer anyone any opportunities to get out of poverty.

Years of democratic corruption and mismanagement keep cities like New York City, Chicago and others as unfavorable places to live.

By keeping everyone a victim, the democrats can rule over the people and keep pretending they will fix things that they have no intention of actually fixing. Not that they would be capable anyway even if they tried.

A recent investigation by the Wall Street Journal into cities with the 20 largest police departments has found that over $2 billion was paid in the past five years for civil rights violations and alleged wrongdoings.

This is just another problem with the democratic-run cities. Whether they are settling cases because of incompetence or PR purposes, the rest of the taxpayers are the ones who suffer when that money could have been used for services that the citizens need. 

The settlements paid were from wrongful detention, excessive force allegations and other things, with some instances ending with permanent injury and death.

New York City alone has paid out more than $1.1 billion since 2015. Chicago comes in second with $253 million paid out, then Los Angeles with $238 million. 

The big democrat-run cities have nothing left at this point to offer to the people who live there.

Those who can are leaving. 

But others are stuck there and those people include the poorest ones with no resources who can’t afford to leave. 

So the cities will continue to downslide as the people who remain in the cities will end up being the ones on government assistance, not the working people or the businesses who support the governmental services.

It’s a system that the democrats have built to fail. The states are hoping that someone like Nancy Pelosi comes along to bail them out for a little while – before they lose their civil society and have a total financial collapse.
