In the most populist presidency since Andrew Jackson was elected in 1828, Donald Trump has defied the odds and actually kept the vast majority of the promises he made in 2016 during his run for the White House. Voters will judge that record in November and vote accordingly. It should, on that basis, go well for Trump.

A record of those fulfilled commitments include:

  • Tax cuts- Record breaking tax cuts for the middle class and a cut of the corporate tax rate from 35 to 21%.
  • Supreme Court- The president appointed 2 conservative justices to the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch.
  • Presidential salary- He never took one.
  • NAFTA- He renegotiated the disastrous trade deal into a winning trade proposal for American farmers and workers.
  • Israel- After years of neglect from the anti-Israel Obama administration, Trump strongly supports Israel and moved the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He also negotiated the first Middle East peace deal, between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, in 25 years.
  • Iran- Trump challenged the Islamist terror state, killing its chief terrorist Qassem Soleimani, and pulled out of the deeply flawed Iran nuclear treaty.
  • Veterans- Trump significantly increased health benefits for veterans and reduced bureaucratic red tape on disability and other benefit decisions by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Military- President Trump rebuilt our armed forces after 8 years of intentional injury by the Obama administration. Pay went up, new weapons systems were developed, morale has increased exponentially. He did this, like Ronald Reagan, while keeping the country at peace. He also negotiated upcoming ends to both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and has greatly reduced America’s troop presence in both nations.
  • Law and order- He has fully supported police and law enforcement against Democrats and their Antifa and Black Lives Matter cohorts.
  • Prison reform- Trump passed landmark legislation that freed numerous nonviolent prison inmates from unjust lengthy incarcerations.
  • Space- The president reinvigorated NASA, founded the United States Space Force, and sent American astronauts into space on an American rocket for the first time in a decade.
  • Border security- Trump has built over 300 miles of his signature border wall and illegal alien crossings have fallen dramatically.

This is just a partial list. The accomplishments serve notice: This president gets things done.
