NASCAR is a complete mess right now.
If they were a “car,” they’d be the one spinning uncontrollably on the track just before crashing into the wall.
As you likely know by now, NASCAR saw their worst broadcast ratings ever after the Bubba Wallace noose fiasco.
NASCAR allowed this PR attention artist, Mr. Wallace, to soak up the limelight for several days, basically accusing some “dirty racist redneck” of planting a noose in his garage (with zero proof) and going on “The View” calling anyone who disagreed with his claims “simple-minded.”
After the investigation, the FBI determined that the “noose” in question had been there for years and was being used as a “garage door pull.”
Bubba went on Don Lemon’s show and basically called the FBI “liars” and said, “no, it was a noose.”
Later, when that effort backfired, Bubba finally issued a statement admitting he was not the victim of a hate crime – and he seemed pretty sad about it, to be quiet honest.
But Bubba Wallace and NASCAR never apologized to the fans for making them appear like backwoods racist hicks or calling a majority of them “simple-minded” because they didn’t “buy” the noose story.
Instead, NASCAR ignored all of that and just trotted out a tricked-out Trump car and called it a day.
They really do think their fans are “simple-minded.”
Needless to say, their ratings have reflected the frustration of a fan base that feels left behind by a newly “WOKE” NASCAR.
Well, today things just got a whole helluva lot worse for NASCAR, because now, the most powerful man in the world is calling them out and what he said is sure to add a few hundred gallons of gasoline on an already blazing fire.
President Trump took to Twitter where he called out NASCAR’s low-ratings and asked them if Bubba Wallace has apologized to the fans.
He hasn’t…
Here’s what POTUS said: “Has @BubbaWallace apologized to all of those great NASCAR drivers & officials who came to his aid, stood by his side, & were willing to sacrifice everything for him, only to find out that the whole thing was just another HOAX? That & Flag decision has caused lowest ratings EVER!”

OUCH.
Bubba is sure to feel that one.

The “flag controversy” Trump is speaking of is about Bubba Wallace’s push to force NASCAR to ban the Confederate flag from all of their events.
“The presence of the Confederate flag at NASCAR events runs contrary to our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fans, our competitors and our industry,” NASCAR said in a statement on its website hours ahead of its race Wednesday night in Martinsville, Virginia.
“Bringing people together around a love for racing and the community that it creates is what makes our fans and sport special. The display of the Confederate flag will be prohibited from all NASCAR events and properties.”
This week, driver Bubba Wallace told CNN’s Don Lemon he wanted NASCAR to go further than 2015, when it asked fans not to bring the Confederate flags to races.
“No one should feel uncomfortable when they come to a NASCAR race. It starts with Confederate flags,” Wallace said. “Get them out of here. They have no place for them.
This guy Bubba Wallace is single-handily turning NASCAR into the “WOKE NFL,” and nobody is willing to stand up and stop him because everyone is so afraid of being called a “racist.”
Will NASCAR allow their ratings and organization go down the toilet so Bubba Wallace feels good and happy, or will they remember who their fans are and what they want, and stop this madness?
