Michigan’s disgraced and controversial governor Gretchen Whitmer is facing some very serious questions about why she moved COVID-sick patients into vulnerable nursing homes throughout the state.

Of course, it’s going to be harder to get the answers to those questions since Whitmer is now refusing to cooperate with a Republican-led investigation into the matter.

So, why won’t Whitmer send her data to the group?

What does she have to hide?

She’s playing politics right now, refusing to send data to the House Republicans since they’re not in the majority.

From Detroit News

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has declined a request by congressional Republicans to turn over records and brief committee staffers on the state’s handling of the novel coronavirus in Michigan’s nursing homes.

Whitmer indicated to Republicans on a U.S. House coronavirus committee that she wouldn’t cooperate with their inquiry, saying the panel’s investigatory authority does not lie with individual members and the committee’s jurisdiction cannot be “stretched” to include the health and safety of a state and its residents.

“I hope that as members of a federal body tasked with oversight of the federal executive branch during this unprecedented public health crisis you refrain from encroaching on the sovereign power of a state government to deal with state matters,” Whitmer wrote in a letter dated Friday.

Her letter is very firm in its refusal, that’s for sure.

I have a solution – the Senate GOP should open an investigation and demand the data from Whitmer, Cuomo, and others who killed vulnerable elderly people by stuffing sick COVID patients in nursing homes.

This is a massive scandal and people must be held accountable.

We just can’t let this be another scandal that gets swept under the rug.
