Facepalm! Only for Dems is the possibility of people working, taking care of their families, paying their bills, and stimulating the economy horrible news.
Believe it or not, some Democrats are reportedly worried that a robust recovering economic recovery in the fall could revive Pres. Trump’s alleged lagging political fortunes — and boost his chance at reelection.
The Democrat politicians and their governors in the various states are no doubt proud of all the business failures their policies have recently caused and all the young and middle-aged people who they have put out of work. That includes many of their voters. In the meantime, their policies saved few, if any, lives from this virus.

I don’t believe any Democrat voter wants to see a lousy economy as it will affect the. Still, the Democrat leadership, elites with many very, very wealthy, don’t care if the economy tanks if it advances their power. Their press will cover for them. That’s what COVID-19 is all about, that and their “vote by mail” scheme. In the “vote by mail” scheme, there’s no registration process like the present system requires. Just every household gets ballots based on the census. Ridiculous and fraudulent in intent.
[Politico] Jason Furman, a top economist in the Obama administration and now a Harvard professor, told a bipartisan group of policymakers last month that “We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country.”
The claims may seem counterintuitive amid the bleak economic picture right now. But it’s premised on assumptions that as lockdowns ease, a recovery could follow more quickly than after past economic crises. Since his earlier prediction, Furman has reportedly also been making the case to Democrats, including top members of presumptive nominee Joe Biden’s campaign.
“This is my big worry,” a former Obama White House official told the outlet, who said of the concern about top members of the party: “It’s high — high, high, high, high.”
Polls have shown Trump trailing Biden nationally, which can in part be attributed to the considerable economic downturn due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown response in large parts of the country. A recent Fox News poll showed Biden with an 8-point lead.
But while an economy with an unemployment rate above 14 percent and rising could normally be expected to doom an incumbent in a general election, there are signs that the economy could begin to dramatically swing back as the election approaches and lockdown measures subside.
So Democrats are hoping the economy stays in the toilet? Is that why the Democrat governors are keeping their states shut down? It seems pretty diabolical.
Congress passed bipartisan bills to provide aid to people and small businesses to help the economy, and Trump signed them into law. And it was pretty much on the honor code – sure, you can put in oversight, but oversight is never going to be perfect in such an emergency. And who bilked the aid money? Liberal Harvard and liberal Planned Parenthood.
Liberals have to hide those stories and root for the economy not to recover, to prevent their corruption from being focused on too much (whether it’s bilking the aid money or Obamagate corruption in Obama’s DOJ).
Considering Trump doubled the GDP growth before the pandemic over what took Obama/Biden eight years to do, better trade deals, reverse the military decline, expose the corruption from the prior administration, the election choice is natural.
But the former Obama White House official noted that Trump gets high marks for the economy even amid the downturn, and put the challenge for Democrats bluntly: “I don’t think this is a challenge for the Biden campaign. This is the challenge for the Biden campaign.”
“If they can’t figure this out they should all just go home.”
You know the Dems are already plotting their next move to stop any kind of positive that could make him look good. Seriously, if you haven’t noticed this after 3.5 years, you suffer from TDS and lack any kind of common sense. My gosh, his party tried hindering him over and over from his campaign to the beginning of his term.

No president ever has gone through what Trump has gone through. His greatest enemy is not any foreign country, but the politicians in his own country. Disgusting.
Only a fool doesn’t think that Pres. Trump’s reelection (or any president for that matter) isn’t closely tied with the strength of the economy. Thirty percent (and that’s counting it loosely) of the country will vote for him regardless, and 30% will vote against him, the rest of us are swing voters that both sides need.
It would be hard to vote him out if our economy is strong, but it will get real murky if there is a second pandemic the happens before November. Reopening is a very calculated risk that can be the difference in the election. Everything goes well, and we don’t have a second spike, Trump is reelected in a landslide.
