Sen. Lindsey Graham isn’t too keen on having Barack Obama testify about the origins of the Russian investigation, which is in stark contrast to Pres. Trump’s suggestion for the Judiciary Committee chairman to possibly make it happen.

“If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama,” Trump wrote. “He knew EVERYTHING.”

Trump tagged Graham in the above tweet, who is the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and told him to “Do it.”

According to Politico, Graham responded to Pres. Trump’s request: “I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that. I don’t know if that’s even possible. I have grave concerns about the role of executive privilege and all kinds of issues,” he said.

“I understand President Trump’s frustration, but be careful what you wish for. Just be careful what you wish for,” Graham added.

Let’s say that I agree with Graham for a second. Maybe it’s too early to call Obama since they have to work up the chain of command. I am however sick of hearing Graham talking big on the Sunday shows and then doing nothing He’s running out of time, Dems could control the Senate in January, and then no one will be called.

Politico did, however, report that Graham plans to summon several former senior Obama administration officials in an attempt to wrangle what happens at the beginning of the Russian investigation that led the media to push a collusion conspiracy between that country and Pres. Trump for the 2016 Presidential election.

Fox News jumped in with their statement claiming that Graham said: “No president is above the law. However, the presidency has executive privilege claims against other branches of government. … As to the Judiciary Committee, both presidents are welcome to come before the committee and share their concerns about each other. If nothing else, it would make for great television. However, I have great doubts about whether it would be wise for the country.”

Here’s the rub on Lindsey. He’s fun to watch and sometimes .. listen to. But … He’s all hat and no cattle. Or said another way, He has a big dog bark and no bite.

Lindsey won’t call on Obama because he fears to set a “dangerous precedent.” Therein lies the problem with Republicans. Not only should Obama testify, but Adam Shiftless should have been called to testify during the farce impeachment fiasco.

Dems know how to play dirty because they have been doing it for many years. Besides, Dems know the GOPers always try to display proper political correctness (i.e., being Mr. Nice Guy)

This is why the American people voted for Donald Trump. But, come on folks, Trump cannot do this by himself. The Senate judiciary committee needs a bulldog fighter as it’s the chairperson. Someone who has a pair and will carry through with what needs to be done against the Deep State.
