The internet is in mourning today after the death of YouTube star Corey La Barrie, who was killed in a car crash on Sunday night on his 25th birthday.
Fox News reported that La Barrie’s death was announced on Instagram by his brother Jarrad, who confirmed that he died in a car crash.
“This isn’t something i thought i would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what i wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving,” Jarrad wrote in the caption of a photo of his brother taking a selfie.
“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do i dont how I’m suppose [sic] to do this without you i miss you so much already this isn’t fair,” Jarred continued. “Thank you for always being the best big brother i could ask for i love you so f–king much life’s never gonna be the same without you R.I.P.”
He concluded his tragic post by writing, “P.S say hi to grandad and grandma for me i love you.”

TMZ reported that La Barrie was the passenger in a vehicle that was allegedly being driven by “Ink Master” star Daniel Silva, who law enforcement sources say is about to be booked for murder since he was drunk at the time of the crash. One source said that Silva has been hospitalized with a broken hip and will be arrested as soon as he is discharged.
On Saturday, La Barrie posted what turned out to be his final YouTube video, and he said in it that his birthday would be the next day.
Tributes have been pouring in for La Barrie on social media as his fans are in shock over his passing as they offer their condolences to his brother.
“My heart is absolutely broken for you, I’m so so sorry,” one person wrote in the comments. “No one should ever have to go through this, thinking of you and your family. Love you, stay strong.”
“Sending love and prayers to you and your family,” another fan added, with a third writing. “Jarrad! I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family in this hard time.”
