Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is implementing his plan to start easing some pandemic restrictions but many voters are angry at the way he’s phasing in the changes. It seems a lot of the voters are getting pushed backward in this phase program, and they are making their voices known.
Wolf had said he would rely on an “evidence-based, regional approach” guided by health experts and economists that will help him decide when it’s safe to reopen.
Rep. John Joyce responded to Wolf’s plan with a hammer on his Facebook page with this response; “As Governor Tom Wolf announces his plan to re-open PA, I urge him to be transparent and forthcoming about the metrics that each county must meet to re-open. Gov. Wolf cannot keep moving the goalposts. The people of Pennsylvania have worked hard to slow the spread of coronavirus, and all of us have made costly sacrifices to protect our neighbors. Pennsylvanians deserve to know the strategy behind the Wolf Administration’s mandates.”

Responses on the Congressman’s Facebook page were straightforward; John Hutchin responded to Wolf’s phase plan very bluntly; “I don’t believe weasel Wolf has a strategy, other than his cronies get special favors. If he did have one that made sense, he’d be publishing it to display his logical leadership and help his re-election chances. If he were a true leader and not a puppet, he would have worked with county elected officials for an opening plan based on population density, active cases, medical capacity, and other risk factors, rather than hiding his decision criteria.”
Donna Sicko wrote; “He has a Napoleon complex. Guess the people can overthrow you too. Sick of your shaniganis,” while Don Carr wanted help from Pres. Trump and Attorney General William Barr; “Please urge President Trump and Attorney General Barr to rescue the suffering people of Pennsylvania! Somerset County had had 26 total cases and we were declared red until further notice by Gov Wolf! Multi-generational family businesses are being destroyed and millions of Pennsylvania families are being impoverished! PLEASE HELP US!”

MORE NEWS: Another Weekend, Another Anti-Trump Protest
Gov. Tom Wolf on Monday set May 8 as the date he wants to begin easing some pandemic restrictions, saying Pennsylvania had made sufficient progress against COVID-19 to warrant a gradual reopening of the economy.
All 12.8 million Pennsylvanians will have to stay home at least through that date, said Wolf, extending his existing stay-at-home order by another eight days. But he suggested it might then be lifted areas of the state where the new coronavirus – which has killed more than 1,200 Pennsylvania residents – does not pose as great of a threat.
Pennsylvania will also ease some restrictions on building construction and vehicle sales, Wolf announced at a video news conference as hundreds of protesters, defying a ban on mass gatherings, staged an anti-shutdown rally at the Capitol.
