Fans of the reality television show “Little Women: Atlanta” are in mourning this week after the death of Ashley Ross, better known as “Ms. Minnie” to her fans. She tragically passed away on Monday at the age of 34 one day after being the victim of a hit-and-run car crash late Sunday night.
Ross’s publicist Liz Dixson told Fox News that Ross was driving near the Old National Highway in Atlanta around 11 p.m. on Sunday when her car collided with another vehicle, which then fled the scene. She was then rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she sadly passed away at around 10:30 PM on Monday.

Ross’s management team announced her death in a statement on her Instagram page.
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34,” they said. “The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Ross is survived by her mother and grandmother as well as a large extended family.
Ross’s cast-mates on the Lifetime reality show “Little Women: Atlanta,” which chronicles the lives of a group of little people living in Atlanta, Georgia, have been taking to social media to pay tribute to her.
“This is too much too much!!!!!!” Shirlene “Ms. Juicy” King Pearson wrote in a post, adding the caption. “Prayers for Minnie’s family!!!”

Cast member Samantha Ortiz paid tribute to Ross as well.
“RIP to @msminnielwa I’m so sorry this has happened I will be praying for you and your family,” she wrote alongside a photo of their cast. “you really never know what can happen. I’m so sorry.”

The Lifetime Network paid tribute to Ross in a lengthy statement that shows just how loved she was.
“Lifetime and the Little Women Family are deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of the sudden passing of Ashley Ross, our beloved ‘Ms. Minnie,’” the network wrote on Instagram. “Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends. Ms. Minnie was an amazing talent and a special part of Little Women Atlanta. She will be dearly missed.”
