Everyone knows CNN is fake news so watching Tesla Owner Elon Musk jump on the train to call them out for erroneously reporting a story to put him in a negative is a sight to see.

CNN claimed Musk’s Tesla company had not delivered on its promise of delivering 1,000-plus ventilators to California hospitals. Musk responded to this report,  expressing his surprise that the news network “still exists.”

Last month, Musk tweeted he had obtained ventilators due to China overstocking and would be shipping them free to hospitals that required them. CNN jumped the gun using so-called information from Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office

Musk later asked Newsom’s office to fix the CNN story when he posted a “Thank You” email from the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services after they received the ventilators.

“Hey Phillip, do you know if these ventilators went into use?” asks Tesla’s Omead Afshar

“They worked great during testing today. We will put these to use tomorrow. Thanks!” responded Phillip Franks, who is Director of System Operations and Support Services at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
