Doctors and nurses have been on the frontline of this COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis and Americans have praised them for their continuing efforts to keep us safe and find a cure.
So why attack their cars while they are working to save lives. Just before 22 cars had their tires slashed, dozens of police and fire personnel from several jurisdictions turned up outside New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt to give the hospital workers a well-deserved round of applause and tip of the cap. And that’s what’s keeping the spirits up.

On Friday morning, police reported 22 vehicles had their tires slashed. A suspect has been arrested.
Daniel R. Hall, 29, was arrested on charges including criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had a small amount of PCP when he was arrested.
“We were shocked to hear of this incident, especially at this time when our employees are working tirelessly and courageously” through the COVID-19 pandemic, the officials said in a statement to theJournal News.
Before the tires were slashed, dozens of police officers and firefighters had gathered outside the hospital Thursday night to applaud the health care workers, who like their colleagues across New York state have been treating patients stricken by the coronavirus, the newspaper reported.
“What our hospital is focusing on today is the beautiful tribute given by our first responders last night,” the hospital statement said. [NBC Washington]
For his evil efforts, Hall was charged with second-degree criminal mischief which included, second-degree auto stripping and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.
