Well, we all knew this move by Pelosi would not be well received…
In a move of shocking stupidity, Nancy Pelosi actually came out to criticize small businesses receiving financial aid due to COVID-19, stating that there’s “no data” to prove that they need assistance.
Not only that, but she’s also working with Chuck Schumer to block small businesses from receiving any additional aid.
Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) moved to block Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) from passing the emergency bill by unanimous consent on Thursday morning. McConnell had hoped that the need for assistance would be evident enough that he would not have to call Congress back from recess to vote on the measure, but Democrats disagreed.
McConnell was left incensed, noting that the $350 billion Paycheck Protection Program fund, which guarantees entrepreneurs with fewer than 500 employees low-interest loans that will be forgiven if they use the money to keep workers on the payroll, is “on track to be depleted by the end of this month.” [Daily Wire]
Conservatives quickly took to Twitter to fight against Pelosi’s plan to strip Americans of their much-needed financial aid.

This is not the time for partisan games.
Americans are hurting.
Small businesses and workers need aid RIGHT NOW. We cannot allow money they are counting on to run dry.https://t.co/PUmZ47fUFv

There already was an agreement to aid small businesses.
Democrats blocked it. https://t.co/Bv3mpNKLyt

Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democrats are once again blocking small business relief. This is despicable. The American people are going to hold Democrats accountable for blocking money to people who are hurting https://t.co/FIctvld2ea

We need additional funds immediately to fund the Small Business Paycheck Protection Program.
This should not be held up by Pelosi and Schumer.
I support the Unanimous Consent request to deliver this necessary relief to our small businesses.#Ny21 Small biz need help now!

Why are Pelosi and the entire Democrat party making such an idiotic move?
It’s like they actually want to drive away votes from middle America…
