Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, slammed the media during his interview on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”
No surprise from a misleadia who thinks its jobs are to run cover for the Chinese Communist government responsible for this plague, incite panic, and hysteria, and exploit the crisis to attack the President. The media is a virus.
It would be helpful if Dr. Fauci appeared just a wee bit more optimistic about the proposed drug cocktail that Pres. Trump mentioned. I get that his reputation in the scientific community for “by the book” matters a lot to him, but Americans could use a little hope right now that all is not lost.

“The President was trying to bring hope to the people. I think there’s this issue of [the media] trying to separate the two of us. There isn’t fundamentally a difference there.”

Margaret Brennan: “You said this week that you differed from the president in an assessment that a combination of two drugs, Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin, combined, could have an outcome that he described to the public. Who is the president listening to and do you see a concern here that those drugs could become, basically oversubscribed, and there could be a shortage that could impact people who have persistent medical issues, like Lupus, and need those?”
Dr. Anthony Fauci: “There’s an issue here of where we’re coming from. The president has heard, as we all have heard, are what I call ‘anecdotal reports’ that certain drugs work. So, what he was trying to do, and express, was the hope that it might work, let’s try and push their usage. I, on the other hand, am not disagreeing with the fact that, anecdotally, they might work. But my view is to prove, definitively, from a scientific standpoint, that they do work. So I was taking a purely medical, scientific standpoint. And the president was trying to bring hope to the people.”

I will say one thing about our media. In the past few years, they have made me distrust and dislike them even more than I did before, and after nearly a lifetime of my distrust and dislike, I didn’t believe that was possible.

It is sort of humorous….sort of…..to see our local trolls outdo themselves in craziness trying to cover for their media propaganda machine by slipping in their Fake news.
I guess that believing those people who love this country are stupid, racist, sexist, homophobe, xenophobes, gives them the right and the “cover” to”prove their ignorance regardless of how hard they try to get everyone to believe they are so “intellectually superior.”
That is what is so darned funny about them.
