We have some far-left leaders making some very bold moves here…
Recently, Governor Gretchen Whitmer stated that she isn’t ruling out enacting “martial law” in Michigan.
It is time for Michigan’s governor to declare martial law.
After all, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer refused to rule out such a declaration during a recent radio interview.
Martial law would at least give some element of certainty to the wide-ranging actions taken by Whitmer in response to the pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
Right now, many Michigan residents, including business owners targeted by restrictions or closures, are living or doing business in a de facto state of marital law.
The only thing that is missing is the formal declaration itself. Without martial law, the Democratic governor’s actions have been seen by some as legally suspect at best and deeply unconstitutional at worst. [Detroit News]

Well, now it looks like California Governor Gavin Newsome is following the same tone by saying that he’s prepared to enact martial law “if necessary.”
California has prepared for worst case scenarios as the coronavirus pandemic heightens, including the possibility of enacting martial law.
Governor Gavin Newsom said during a press conference on Tuesday he would consider implementing martial law if it was necessary to curb the novel virus.
“We have the ability to do martial law … if we feel the necessity,” he said.
Issuing martial law would be an unprecedented move rarely used by officials in US history. If enacted, it would temporarily replace civil rule with military authority [Independent]
This is again, a pretty unprecedented move for a U.S. official to be declaring willy nilly.
