Actor Idris Elba announced he has tested positive for coronavirus. He made the announcement on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

He wanted everyone to know that he was OK and wasn’t showing symptoms at the current time, but he has been responsible for self-isolation ever since finding out he may have been exposed.

Elba tweeted the following: “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing, No panic.”

Other actors such as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Olga Kurylenko, and Universal Music chief Lucian Grainge have also tested positive for the virus.
