People like Winona Ryder are so out-of-touch with the average working-class American.

These snobby, smug elites sit perched in their gilded cages tweeting away about the “oppression under Trump” from their $12-million-dollar Hollywood mansions, completely unaware of what actual oppression is and how Trump and his America First policies have helped middle-class Americans. Actually, even if they did realize they wouldn’t care because all that matters to these privileged out-of-touch elites is, “Orange Man Bad.”

Ryder, who as you know is best-remembered for her shoplifting spree at Saks Fith Ave., has a new project in the works. It’s an HBO series that imagines what the U.S. would be like under “fascist” rule – of course, Ryder and her fellow brain-dead Hollywood zombie friends believe it’s a mirror image of Trump’s presidency.

Ryder says she was compelled to get involved with the project as a way to help “speak out” against fascist Trump who dares to guard the U.S. border and refuses to allow every drug dealer and sex trafficker this side of Tijuana into the United States – the nerve of this tyrant, right?

She goes onto say that the last few years of Trump have been a “mind-boggling nightmare.”

For whom, exactly?

Jobs are coming back, wages are going up, and the U.S. is finally respected in the world. What exactly is so “nightmarish” about that, Shoplifter?

“Obviously a lot has been weighing on all of our minds. The whole fear of ‘the other’ in the eyes of fascism, what’s happening at the border, all of that is so outrageous and I think the last few years has been such a mind boggling like nightmare in so many ways,” Ryder said. “When I think about this project, it makes me want to speak out and do whatever I can and the way to do that right now is to vote.”

“I think this show is so much more about psychology of the victim than it is about the tyranny of the perpetrator,” Krumholtz added. “It was not unlike a lot of [my] friends that have chosen to not take the alarmist route, to sort of keep their heads down and be grateful for the things they do have.” [Variety]

This new project that Winona is in sounds a lot like Amazon’s “Man in the High Tower,” which started out great and then took a giant PC turn and ended terribly.

These Hollywood celebs live in a bubble that is so far removed from reality, that it literally feels as if they’re living in an alternate universe.

Remember the days when Hollywood stars would just act? I miss those days.
