On Sunday, Minnesota’s Sen. Amy Klobuchar canceled a rally when protesters shouted for her to drop out of the presidential race over the case of a black teen sentenced to life in prison. At the same time, Klobuchar was the county’s top prosecutor.

Amy is always boasting her voter appeal in Minnesota and the upper Midwest region. She got trounced in Iowa, is booed off the stage in Minnesota and has gained no traction in Wisconsin. Will she soon cave into DNC pressure to drop from the race lacking, in their words, a path to the nomination?

Even though I don’t care who wins the Democratic nomination, regardless of a political party, this should not be allowed. The police should protect candidates against mob rule. This is why Trump nipped this stuff before it got started in his 2016 rallies.

Klobuchar was scheduled to speak at St. Louis Park High School in suburban Minneapolis ahead of Tuesday’s Minnesota primary, which she is fighting to win and notch her first victory. But dozens of protesters entered the gymnasium, raised signs and chanted “black lives matter” and “Myon,” a reference to Myon Burrell, who was convicted of the murder of 11-year-old Tyesha Edwards.

An Associated Press investigation questioned Klobuchar’s handling of the 2002 case, in which Burrell was sent to prison for life following a police investigation some say was flawed. Klobuchar has said if there is new information in the case it should be considered — a response that some activists have said doesn’t go far enough.

Klobuchar has struggled to win support from black voters, a major problem for her campaign as she seeks the Democratic nomination. Her best finish in the first four contests was in New Hampshire, an overwhelmingly white state where she came in third. In both Nevada and South Carolina she trailed far behind the front-runners, failing to win a single delegate. [Associated Press]

There is not one candidate for president that does not have a major flaw. Some more than others, but to choose to vote for any of them is almost impossible.

People voting also have to remember our presidents run on what they think you want to hear but do not have the power to do it after being elected unless congress opens the purse strings. Look at what they promise then look at the constitution to see if they have the power to do what they claim.

If she can’t handle protesters at a rally in Minnesota, she is NOT ready to handle to pressures of being president. No worries, she has no chance. Methinks she is hanging around for the promise of a Washington job from the eventual nominee.

Good-Bye, Amy!
