If you’re a police organization looking to donate to the progressive Democrats known as “The Squad” (and why would you?!) your money isn’t welcome. But that raises another question: How carefully are they checking everyone else’s donations?

According to Fox News, the Squad Victory Fund has raked in a record $2.35 million during the 2025–2026 election cycle while explicitly refusing contributions from the Fraternal Order of Police.

The fundraising operation benefits progressive Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Michigan’s own Rashida Tlaib. And if Abdul El-Sayed wins Michigan’s U.S. Senate race, the Squad will have another member to add to its collection of far-left looney lawmakers. Yes, they will be saving him a seat at the lunch table of Congress’s most notorious mean-girl clique.

The group also reportedly rejects corporate PAC money, federal lobbyists and fossil fuel interests – or so they say.

What About Foreign Donors?

Federal law prohibits foreign nationals from contributing to American elections, but we all know what goes on with the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue.

So…one has to ask the obvious question…if the Squad can specifically screen out police organizations, how does it ensure that prohibited foreign money doesn’t slip through the cracks? Are they also screening for that? Doubt it.

After all, rejecting money from America’s largest police organization to pander to their anti-police base is one thing. Making sure campaign contributions actually come from eligible American donors is another.
