Dr. Anthony Fauci apparently has had plenty of affection for Chinese health officials. President Donald Trump? Not so much. And to the surprise of absolutely no one, the former COVID czar’s private diary reads more like an anti-Trump rant than the notes of an impartial government scientist.
According to Just the News, newly released diary entries from Fauci show him repeatedly criticizing Trump while offering glowing praise for Chinese health officials. In 2017, Fauci described Chinese CDC Director General Gao Fu as a “Very smart and nice guy.”
Trump, meanwhile, was accused by Fauci of acting bizarrely, making a fool of himself and deserving impeachment.
And Then There’s the Missing Files…
In another notable entry, Fauci described a cybersecurity breach that exposed his personal files, including confidential documents related to previous anthrax attacks.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) released the records as part of an investigation into Fauci’s handling of government documents.
For Americans who questioned Fauci’s judgment during COVID, the diary probably won’t improve his reputation.
