The fallout from the massive “migrant” (illegal alien) influx into Ceuta, Spain continues and the police could use a few extra hands – or a few thousand.

According to a report from Breitbart News, Spain’s Federal Police Union (UFP) says officers are overwhelmed, overworked and operating in a system that has “completely collapsed” following the mass arrivals that began in late July.

According to the union, officers processing asylum claims (great use of their time, huh?) have been working from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m., sometimes pulling double shifts. The union renewed calls for reinforcements after an officer suffered a heart attack over the weekend believe to be linked to stress.

Meanwhile, police unions say officers are dealing with fights, robberies, assaults and other disturbances.

In Ceuta, the migrant crisis is no longer just a border problem. It’s now a manpower problem, a crime problem and a question of how long Spain expects exhausted police officers to hold the whole thing together with overtime and crossed fingers.
