For years, Americans were told the 2020 election was among the most secure in history. Now, newly declassified FBI documents are drawing fresh attention to a cybersecurity incident that reportedly exposed hundreds of thousands of Maricopa County voter records.

This is yet another thing that the Biden Administration and election officials hid from the American people. And it’s yet another thing that resulted in zero prosecution. Really? Someone hacks into a voter database and faces zero consequences? Even after the suspect admitted that he did it?

According to documents released by the White House and cited in a letter from FBI Director Kash Patel, a hacker, Elliot Kerwin, obtained approximately 633,000 Maricopa County voter records, including nonpublic information belonging to about 930 protected voters, such as domestic violence victims, law enforcement officers, judges and prosecutors.

An interview contained in the declassified files suggests the hacker believed the breach may have netted between one and two million files.

The declassification comes as the Trump administration continues a broader federal investigation into matters related to the 2020 election, including records from Arizona.

An incident involving the theft of Maricopa County voter registration data WAS publicly reported in late 2020, when the FBI raided the home of Kerwin. However, the full scope of the breach – including the number of records allegedly obtained, the extent of the exposed nonpublic information, and the FBI’s unsuccessful efforts to pursue prosecution – did not become public until the recent release of newly declassified documents.

When the Dems (and even the Republicans) say there were no illegal aliens voting in elections, no voter fraud, and no shenanigans of any kind going on, what they really mean is that they were able to hide it all for a long time.
