Old white dude, Minnesota Democratic Governor, and failed VP candidate Tim Walz is back in the spotlight – and this time, he’s auditioning for a new title: “Somali King.”

According to Breitbart News, at a weekend “No Kings” protest, the former vice-presidential hopeful (for about 16 seconds) pledged his administration would “never leave the side” of Somali Minnesotans, adding, “your great grandchildren will be here when that orange clown (Trump) is in the dustbin of history.”

Nice sentiment – if you’re narrowly targeting a group of foreigners over American citizens. But that’s who the Democrats are now. They are the leaders and representatives of foreigners – and they are loud and proud about it.

Walz, who already took a bruising loss on the national stage along with Cackling Kamala in 2024, and is now being looked at for “overlooking” the fraud of his Somali friends, appears to be doubling down on identity politics as his governing philosophy. Instead of representing Americans in his state, he appears to have a selective loyalty program – no membership perks included for anyone who’s not Somali.

So while protesters chant “No Kings,” Walz seems perfectly comfortable slipping a crown on his own head as the Somali King.
