If you were wondering what Democrats took away from last night’s State of the Union moment – when many of them stayed seated rather than stand for prioritizing American citizens – apparently it was this: double down.

In a new video on Tuesday, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez promote free daycare for three and four year olds – in Spanish – while making clear the program is open “regardless of the language they speak or immigration status.” Translation: if you crossed the border illegally, congratulations. Daycare’s on the house. Or rather, on the taxpayer.

According to the mayor’s office, applications are open to all eligible families including illegal aliens. Programs are free. That’s a nice word. “Free.” The only people it’s not free for are the Americans footing the bill.

There’s even interpretation services in more than 200 languages to help illegals sign up for the program including Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Haitian Creole, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

This announcement came on the same day that Democrats made a very public statement during the State of the Union that illegal aliens, not American citizens, are their priority. Message received.
