The Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security proudly announced recently that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been rounding up exactly the kinds of people most Americans don’t want in their neighborhoods – illegal alien child rapists, gang members, burglars, domestic abusers, and other violent offenders. That’s right: dangerous CRIMINALS.

In places from Minnesota to Maine, ICE’s “Worst of the Worst” enforcement campaign has hauled in thousands of illegal aliens with seriously bad resumes. Records of illegal aliens apprehended in Maine include charges of aggravated assault, cocaine possession, driving drunk and child endangerment.

You’d think Americans (even Democrats) would applaud removing predators from the streets, especially those harming children. Instead? Many Democrats – elected officials and activists alike – are busy shrieking about how law enforcement dares to enforce the law against criminals.

Yes, we are living in some sort of weird Twilight Zone episode. But it’s one of the Democrats’ making because they are fine trading in the security and safety of the American people to win elections. Everyone knows the endgame: citizenship and voting rights for illegal aliens. Until then, Democrats are content using them to inflate congressional representation.

In Leftist circles, the messaging is that supporting criminal aliens (even the violent ones) is seen as compassionate. But what about compassion for the victims and Americans who aren’t safe in their own cities and homes?

But don’t just take my word for it. Americans can now see for themselves how bad things are in their own state because Homeland Security has put up a website to show everyone the criminals that they have been catching. They’ve also announced that in the first year of President Trump’s second term as president, they have arrested 7,000 illegal aliens who have alleged ties to gangs. Their crime sprees include burglaries, robberies, drug offenses sexually predatory offenses, homicides and more according to a New York Post report.

Is public safety really too much to ask for? Apparently so if the Democrats continue to have their way. While the Trump administration is arresting rapists, gang members, and violent offenders, Democrats are marching in the streets to defend them. One side is trying to make America safer. The other is loudly insisting that enforcing the law is the real problem. Make America Safe Again.
