Washington pulled off an Olympic-caliber contortion on Tuesday, finally deciding it does want the Epstein documents out in the open after all. The Senate signed on unanimously to the Epstein Files Transparency Act and the House also voted yes with a 427–1 vote. The move forces the Justice Department to cough up the long-buried case files. Under the bill, the DOJ gets 30 days to release the documents once President Trump signs it – meaning the countdown starts the second the ink dries.

Already, information has been coming out piecemeal and the Dems might regret demanding the files be released. Trump told reporters recently, “We have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats do – all of his friends were Democrats. I believe that many of the people that we, some of the people that we mentioned, are being looked at very seriously for their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein, but they were with him all the time. I wasn’t. I wasn’t at all, and we’ll see what happens…”

The information has been sought by the Dems to destroy Trump and go after their political enemies ahead of next year’s elections. It’s quite ridiculous to release what is most likely unverified information but it is what it is. And turnabout is fair play.

Once President Trump signaled that Republicans should go ahead and vote to release more Epstein documents, the Democrats were all over X saying that Trump would have the files “scrubbed.” This will be their reason why they won’t be able to pin anything on Trump. But what “scrubbed” actually means is that the DOJ can withhold/redact sensitive information for victim privacy or something involved in an active investigation.

So what about the Democrats’ involvement with Epstein? The denials are already beginning.

Speaking of awkward: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who now acts like he never heard of Epstein, is insisting he has nothing to hide. This, despite reporting that he once solicited donations from Epstein and even tried to arrange a meet-up with Barack Obama.

Jeffries told CNN recently, “I have no recollection of the email.”

In his denial, Jeffries is pointing to his consulting firm communicating with Epstein, not him personally.

Let’s be honest: both sides know the grab bag of unverified information and names is going to be used like political nunchucks. Democrats will weaponize whatever they find against conservatives. Republicans will do the same.

In 30 days, the truth drops. Good luck to all of them.
