Remember when “two for $5” actually meant something, and a bag of chips wasn’t 60% air with a side of disappointment? Yeah, those days have been buried by Bidenomics

Between COVID lockdowns choking supply chains and the Biden administration tossing gas on the inflation fire with “relief” spending sprees, the economy tanked harder than a rookie quarterback in his first playoff game.

Now, with grocery receipts reading like five-star restaurant menus, enter the Democrats, who suddenly treat inflation like their campaign BFF – pretending to finally “care” about prices after four years of shrugging them off and pretending that reality wasn’t really reality.

With election season on the horizon, the Dems are all over social media whining that Trump hasn’t waved a magic wand to slash food costs.

What the Left is ignoring is the fact that companies already retooled production lines for smaller packages and higher profits. Once the price genie’s out of the bottle, it doesn’t crawl back in. Yes…Newsflash – companies don’t just reverse shrinkflation because politicians tell them to. Manufacturers literally retooled their machines to crank out “new, improved” smaller packages and smaller food items, and they’re not about to swap them back unless they absolutely have to.

Want bigger portions again? Tough. Once corporate America figured out how to make a “fun size” Snickers pass as a full sized candy bar – and you kept buying it – they locked it in. The Biden crew’s economic mess made sure of it, and now they’re pointing fingers at Trump like he’s supposed to wave a magic wand over the Doritos factory.

Trump can lower energy costs and get the economy humming again, but that doesn’t mean that groceries (at least the packaged and canned kind) will go down in price.

So yes, your groceries cost more, your packages are smaller, your food is smaller and your paycheck stretches about as far as a gas station hot dog. But don’t thank Trump for that. It’s all on Biden and the Democrats.
