The Left keeps telling us (and President Trump) to “tone it down” even though they literally just assassinated one of our cultural icons and they tried to kill our president twice.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination wasn’t just a warning shot – it was the culmination of years of leftist rage that’s escalated from boycotts and censorship to open violence. And what’s worse? Many of them aren’t even pretending to be horrified. They’re celebrating online, cracking jokes, dancing around on TikTok and gloating that maybe this will finally shut some of us up.

So here’s the uncomfortable choice staring conservatives in the face: do we keep taking the high road like Kirk, who believed in engaging – even with people who despised him – or do we wake up and admit that most of the folks on the other side are NOT going to change? You can’t reason with people who pop champagne at your funeral.

The Leftist mob has made it clear that they won’t quit hating, won’t quit silencing, and won’t quit cheering when the silencing turns bloody. Which means the question isn’t whether there’s a war – it’s whether we’re willing to fight the one they’ve already started.

At this point, the choice isn’t between peace and conflict – that decision was stolen the moment the Left normalized bullets over ballots. The real decision for conservatives is whether we keep pretending the other side is interested in civility, or whether we finally recognize the reality staring us in the face: the other side is not interested in peace. The Leftist mob has shown us exactly how far they’re willing to go.

That doesn’t mean matching their hate with violence – because conservatives don’t torch cities or cheer assassinations. Our fight is fought differently: with truth, courage, organization, and an unshakable refusal to be silenced. History doesn’t reward the naïve, but it does reward those who stand firm when evil comes calling. The Left has declared war on us. The one choice we don’t have is to sit this out.

As former radio star Rush Limbaugh said, “I think the attitude needs to be: We need to defeat liberals, defeat them, defeat them. Not accommodate them. Not try to persuade them. If they come along of their own volition, fine. We accept them. But they are the epitome of bigotry and prejudice.”
