It all started with Bernie Sanders, the kooky Senator from Vermont, who began lobotomizing the left’s ability to think clearly back in the 2016 Presidential Election. Since then, the infection hasn’t just spread—it’s metastasized.

We are now witnessing the left experimenting with Communism on American soil—in real time. And it’s time to sound the alarm.

The Democratic Socialists of America have exploded from a fringe group of just 6,000 radicals in 2015 to a force of 80,000 today, thanks to Bernie, AOC, pro-Palestinian propaganda, and most recently, Zohran Mamdani’s political campaign in New York City. Mamdani didn’t just win—he crushed Andrew Cuomo by 12 points in the mayoral primary with half a million votes. That victory was a red flare over the Democratic Party—because the radicals are officially in charge.

Before the primary, Democrats kept their distance from Mamdani. Major donors backed Cuomo. Party brass like Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer kept quiet. Even prominent New York Democrats like Governor Kathy Hochul and Reps. Dan Goldman and Tom Suozzi expressed concern about Mamdani’s radicalism. But post-primary, many are falling in line, desperate to resuscitate their ailing party—even if it means jumping headfirst into a socialist dumpster fire.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, ever eager for utopia, is practically giddy about Mamdani’s vision of city-funded grocery stores and other social experiments. She says she’s “excited” for him to experiment— Bite #5 —but here’s the reality check: socialism’s “experiments” have been run countless times, and they fail. Every. Single. Time.

Take Kansas City’s government-run grocery store for example. It’s exactly what you’d expect: bureaucratic inefficiency dressed up as social justice— Bite #6.

Look abroad. Venezuela was once the wealthiest country in South America. Then Chávez and Maduro promised free everything, nationalized everything, and delivered breadlines and starvation. Seven million people fled. Some were forced to eat zoo animals to survive. The Soviet Union spent 70 years proving socialism doesn’t work—resulting in empty shelves, mass starvation, and eventual collapse. Mao’s China killed 50 million in the Great Leap Forward and millions more in the Cultural Revolution. Wherever socialism goes, death and decay follow.

We don’t need a new experiment in New York City. We already know the outcome. If Mamdani’s vision takes root, it won’t just kill the Big Apple—it could cripple America.

America was built on grit, liberty, and the pursuit of dreams—not on government handouts and state control. Yet that’s exactly what democratic socialists are peddling: Medicare for All, free college, wealth taxes. Sounds generous—until you realize it’s your paycheck they’re eyeing.

CNBC dismantled Warren’s math on “just tax the rich” economic fairy tales— Bite #7. Americans aren’t buying it. A 2023 Gallup poll showed 65% of Americans favor a free-market economy. But the left isn’t listening.

Go to any small town in America—Ohio, Texas, Florida—nobody’s demanding socialism. But Mamdani and Warren have found a cohort of young voters who’ve been brainwashed into believing that more government means more affordability. It won’t. It only guarantees misery.

Joe Biden’s so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” and the $90-trillion Green New Deal were just the appetizer. The new socialist wave is preparing the main course.

Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh—another self-identified democratic socialist—recently declared it’s time for Democrats to decide what kind of party they want to be.

He touts his Somalian roots, conveniently ignoring that Somalia’s plunge into socialism led to a national collapse. The regime nationalized industries, seized land, rationed food—and created famine, corruption, and economic ruin. Socialist tyrants always promise equity. They deliver disaster.

This isn’t just about New York or Mamdani. It’s a choice between two visions for America. If sane Democrats still exist—and they do—they must draw a red line. Even NYC Mayor Eric Adams has managed that much.

But Mamdani isn’t just pushing grocery stores. He’s advocating $65 million in transgender healthcare spending—open to anyone in the country, not just New Yorkers. Fly in, get it done—on the taxpayer’s dime. A Democratic Socialist working with Mamdani explained the plan.

This isn’t about compassion. It’s about control. These socialists want to dictate what you say, how you live, and what you believe. They want to silence dissent, defund your police, and force you to pay for ideologies you never voted for.

Mamdani, now backpedaling, claims he doesn’t want to abolish police, just replace some with social workers.

Because nothing says public safety like sending therapists into armed robberies.

The left is not guided by logic. They deal in emotional soundbites, fantasy economics, and empty promises aimed at those who want free stuff without responsibility. It’s a formula for ruin.
