If the zombie apocalypse arrives, some Michigan residents apparently won’t be caught completely off guard. They’ve survived potholes the size of swimming pools, unpredictable weather, construction season and Detroit Lions heartbreak. How much worse could a few flesh-eating zombies really be?

According to a new Spookiest States Survey by SlotsLV, 32% of Michiganders say they’ve already prepared a survival plan for a zombie outbreak.

Meanwhile, 12% of Michigan respondents figure they’d last less than a day, and another 16% don’t expect to survive at all. Apparently, some people have already accepted their fate as zombie appetizers.

With Halloween approaching Saturday, Michigan’s supernatural preparedness might come in handy whether they will be facing ghosts in the attic, demons in the dating pool or zombies wandering down I-75.
